Garvit Patodia is an accomplished professional with a foundation in mechanical engineering and a strong entrepreneurial spirit. During his academic years, he actively contributed to family businesses while independently mastering applied finance. His expertise spans capital management, asset allocation, and corporate finance, supported by successfully clearing CFA Level I and training for Level II.
He founded an engineering manufacturing firm in 2018, specializing in agricultural machinery. Under his leadership, the company established a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in record time and achieved sustainable growth over five years before concluding a profitable exit.
Harnessing insights gained from his earlier ventures, Garvit transitioned into agricultural commodities trading. He began with rice and maize exports from India and progressively diversified into other commodities. Recognizing market opportunities, he introduced edible oils to the company’s portfolio in 2022 with a successful pilot import shipment. Since then, he has built a robust network of repeat customers and now oversees a profitable trading operation with monthly volumes exceeding 2,500 metric tonnes of edible oils.
Garvit is keen on broadening revenue streams by exploring trade finance and providing end-to-end solutions, demonstrating his forward-thinking approach and commitment to business growth.
